Word Cloud Sites

A word cloud is a visual portrayal of a set of words, with higher frequency words being depicted larger than less frequent words.
There are many uses for word clouds in the classroom, such as:
  • book summaries
  • surveys
  • visualizing main idea of an exceprt based on high frequency words
  • poetry assignments
  • spelling word activities
  • create fundraising items (book jackets, mugs, t-shirts, etc.)
  • word family activities
  • MUCH more
